Chapter:1

★°•

Early morning roads trembled under the roar of engines.

Three superbikes burst onto the highway, tearing through the wind like unleashed beasts. Tires screeched, engines growled, and the world blurred around them. Ansh, Mahir, and Ayaan flew across the road with reckless excitement—

But the real storm arrived last.

A brand-new Lamborghini racing bike glided forward with dangerous grace. Matte-black body, deadly speed, and a rider who looked like he was born to command the road.

YES, THE FAMOUS ROAD REBEL “ABHIR SHARMA”—THE GUY WITH 5 MILLION PLUS FOLLOWERS ON INSTAGRAM, WITH A HUGE FANBASE FOR HIS HOT BIKE-RIDING REELS.

He lowered his visor, leaned forward, and smirked.

“Let’s wake the city up.”

He pushed the throttle.

The bike leapt forward instantly, overtaking all three of his friends as if they were standing still. He slid between cars, dodged buses by inches, and raced through the morning breeze with a confidence that bordered on arrogance.

Ansh shouted from far behind, “BRO, SLOW DOWN!”

But Abhir was far from slowing.

His heart pounded with thrill. This was his world—speed, danger, and the feeling that nothing could touch him.

The road was a little muddy from last night’s heavy rain, but does Abhir Sharma care? Absolutely freaking not. This seemed to make the whole thing even more thrilling. He seemed happy seeing the slightly muddy, water-filled road—the sloppiness of the road could make anyone question whether they should ride there in the morning or not, but Abhir Sharma? He loved excitement and thrill. Without giving a damn about the world, he started driving recklessly, speeding up even more and shouting and screaming happily like a madman, splashing water everywhere. Mahir shouted from behind, telling him to stop, but the Road Rebel never listened to anyone.

Then, without warning—

A deep puddle from last night’s rain stretched across the road.

His front tire struck it violently—

SPLAAAAASHH!!

A huge amount of dirty water was thrown onto a dark red Mercedes. He saw it—yes, he did see the car, and the dirty water on it—and he knew he was the reason behind it. Instead of feeling guilty like a normal person should, he seemed mischievous and laughed, shouting, “Sorry!” before running off with his bike again.

Behind him, Mahir, Ayaan, and Ansh watched him. For a moment, their bikes slowed down. They looked at each other with nervous glances, not knowing what to do. To be honest, they looked more scared than the one who actually caused this. Just when they were overthinking, they heard his laughter and saw him ride off again, leaving the dark red car standing beside the road, covered in muddy water. After hesitating for a moment, they also followed Abhir.

After riding for five minutes, when they were finally away from that place, Ansh shouted to Abhir from his bike,
“Don’t you think whatever you did was wrong?”

Abhir smirked arrogantly.
“Not that I care. It was just some water, and I’m pretty sure the person in that car knows me. Getting their car dirty by the famous Road Rebel means they’re lucky.”

He chuckled arrogantly.

Mahir laughed.
“Self-obsessed much?”

Abhir smirked.
“Come on, jerks! Catch me if you can. Let’s see who gets to the university first.”

(Yes, you heard that right. These mentally unstable boys were racing bikes in the early winter morning—before their university.)

Hearing Abhir, the three of them sped up their bikes, though they couldn’t even get close to him. He laughed and screamed at the top of his lungs while riding, leaving everyone behind.

Everything was cool—well, at least for Abhir—until he saw a car speeding ahead of him. His eyes narrowed. It was the same dark red Mercedes—the one he had splashed with dirty water.

He didn’t see who was driving, but something snapped inside him. The car he had left behind was now ahead? No way. That car cannot overtake Abhir Sharma.

Thinking this, his competitive nature ignited. He pushed his bike to the fastest speed. But the car… whoever was inside it, was a beast. It didn’t stop either.

Abhir's POV

Frustration bubbled inside Me. Who the hell is challenging the famous Road Rebel? I sped up. The car sped up faster.

The wind whipped past my face as I pushed the bike to its absolute limit. Every twist of the throttle made his heart pound faster. I was Road Rebel—untouchable, unstoppable… and yet, this car was keeping pace.

My eyes narrowed, adrenaline mixing with disbelief. Who the hell is this?

The Mercedes hugged curves effortlessly, moving like it had a mind of its own. Whoever was inside was no amateur—maybe even as crazy as I was.

I leaned forward and roared,
“Not happening! No one outruns me!”

I zigzagged through the morning traffic, weaving dangerously close to dividers, splashing water from every puddle in his path. The car followed relentlessly. My competitive streak screamed inside me, every fiber of his body demanding to win.

“C’mon, whoever you are! You think you can challenge the Road Rebel?!” I shouted over the wind, though I knew the driver couldn’t hear him.

But the car didn’t falter. It moved faster. My smirk wavered for the first time that morning. A rush of frustration and exhilaration collided inside me—something I hadn’t felt this challenged in months.

Frustrated, I saw a traffic signal turn red, forcing all of them to stop.
“Damn it!” I shouted, glaring at the car standing there too. I tried to glance inside to see who was driving, but the moment I got the chance, the signal turned green, and like lightning, the car took off—while I was stuck behind the traffic.

When I finally got a clear road, the car was gone. He muttered a curse under his breath. His ego was bruised. That car had outturned him. It had beaten him—and all because of traffic. Thinking about it made me disgusted. Whoever was driving that car had just defeated the Road Rebel.

Behind me, Mahir, Ayaan, and Ansh were still trying to process what had happened. It was supposed to be just a race between the boys—but who was that dark red car?

My mind was a storm of disbelief and irritation. Someone actually outran the Road Rebel? Impossible.

I pushed the throttle harder, the bike screaming beneath him as if it understood the fury boiling inside him. Every fiber of his being screamed that I had to know who dared challenge him—even for a few seconds.

Behind him, his friends were silent, still processing the chaos.

“Bro… seriously… that car…” Ansh finally spoke, voice shaky.
Mahir nodded. “Who even drives like that?”
Ayaan added, “And they actually—beat you, bro. Beat you.”

Abhir didn’t respond. He didn’t need to. His hands gripped the handlebars tighter, his jaw set in pure stubbornness. Losing? To a random stranger? Never.

The university gates were in sight. He slammed the brakes and skidded onto the campus road, wheels throwing sparks and mud in all directions. His friends followed, dazed but trying to keep up.

Abhir glanced at the empty parking lot. The Mercedes was nowhere in sight.
“Gone… of course it’s gone,” he muttered. His ego throbbed with humiliation. Who could it have been? And why did they leave him behind?

Adrenaline still coursed through his veins as he parked his bike. He didn’t even notice his friends climbing down, still in shock.

“Bro… seriously, that just happened?” Mahir whispered.

“Yes,” Abhir gritted through his teeth. “And someone just beat me. Some… random car… random person…”

Ansh rolled his eyes. “Random? That was definitely no one random. That car… that speed… who drives like that?!”

Abhir ignored him, He needed answers. He had to know who dared humiliate the Road Rebel on the streets.

As they were parking their bikes, Abhir’s eyes caught a familiar sight in the parking lot.

The dark red Mercedes.

They froze.

No. Damn. Way.

Mahir’s jaw dropped. “Bro… the owner… the driver… is here too? In this university?”

Ansh and Ayaan exchanged wide-eyed glances, completely dumbfounded.

Abhir’s heart skipped a beat, a mix of disbelief, frustration, and… curiosity swirling inside him. His mind raced faster than his bike had just done. So, the person bold enough to challenge the Road Rebel on the road… is also in our university?

Abhir saw the car door open and someone stepping out. His heart raced with excitement and curiosity to see who this beast was. But the moment the person stepped out, his eyes widened.
He could feel his ego tingling, every nerve screaming at him. The audacity. The sheer nerve. And deep down… a spark of excitement—finally, someone worthy of his attention.
